    Question Can the X-box read mp3s from CD-Rs/CD-RWs to load on the HD or what?

    Hi.

    I have been trying to get my X-box to read CDs/CD-RWs with mp3s to load on the HD and I have had no luck. I have read on the internet several things that include "CD-Rs don't work on the X-box, but CD-RWs do" and "Very few CD-Rs can be read by the X-box and some CD-RWs can be read depending on the burning software you use. Has anyone had any luck getting their X-box to read mp3s using a specific type of media/software combo at a certain burn speed? Let me know. Thanks!

    i cant answer your question, since i dont have an xbox. but acnt youy transfer them over a network?

    i dont think xbox can decode mp3's, only audio cd. there may be hacks but i havent heard of any yet.
