Try out this discount club for free and they'll send you a $50 savings bond. Highly recommend using a webcert.

    Question

Off topic, but has anyone been receiving their "free $5 webcerts" lately? I tried signing up for all the family members in my house (and we STILL have aol, but it comes in handy in situations like this where you need a paid internet account), and haven't received anything in 3-4 weeks. I don't think my friends have had any luck either, and they have never received a webcert before..

regarding Civic's post, why is it that you must have a "paid" e-mail address to receive WebCerts? I suppose the answer is to prevent anandtech boneheads from getting 50 $5.00 certs, but us honest GotApex types who save money by using free dialups are feeling left out.

The last web cert I received was around a week ago. So they're still up. Maybe they're backed up with request. I'll ask for another one to see if I get it or now.

Well, what I did was I used a $5.00 web cert which I got free somewhere, I forgot where and when I received it. And my order went through. If you read the fine print it says something about you will get details on "how" to get the $50 bonds with your stuff. So, it could be a scam like those free 2 plane tickets, but you would need to live in one of those expensive hotels deal...

    Question

Has anyone received the savings bond yet? I received an info packet on 7/15 but no mention of the bond.

How about using ecount instead of web certificate? Works like a MasterCard. www.ecount.com
