    can you just unplug?

do you ever think you spend too much time on the computer?
AND then are you able to just get away from it for days?
OR are you so addicted you have to check out your fav sites at least once a day?

If a computer is at my disposal, i'll check all throughout the day. But i have no withdrawl if i'm away for a while, although all the good stuff seems to happen when i'm not around.

I'm a feast or famine person...

If I'm on, I'm on... a lot. Every day, for a good chunk of the day.

And when I step away, for vacation, or to go out of town, it's cold turkey. And I don't really miss it that much. I feel no urge to check my email, or any web site.
And I found that hope and a lucky card
were all I had to walk with me...

During my recent California odyssey I was unable to check email and sites for several days. It was... uncomfortable. If I could have had even 15 minutes a day it would have been much better.

i actually play acoustically more than electrically, because i like the rich, warm tones offered by the acoustic instrument. not that i don't enjoy my electric...

the electric? it better be fuzzed and cranked up if i play it! unfortunately i live in an apt, so that idea just gets shot down easily.
remember that pick of the sears amp i posted a while back? all tubes, baby

i get great tone through that thing regardless of volume. all blues...all the time

(ok, so i play jazz and rock and stuff, too...)

Hello everybody. My name is molecularfire and I'm a internet junkie. I'm not looking forward to classes starting, because I'm going to have to cut back on my internet time.

If the worldcom shutdown goes through, a lot of people will find out very quickly how important getting online is to them.

When I go down to visit my GF, I go online maybe once or twice in a 4-5 day period. Basically, I'd rather spend time with people irl than surfing the web, but since there are no people here...

Hapoo, can you "leave" for a few days. I need to find some deals on computer stuff and I think if your theory is true, it might help me.

BTW: I check whenever available but I'll miss a day here and there when I'm too busy.

I try to limit myself to no more than 16 hours a day on the computer...

So, see, I don't have a dependancy or problem...

i do not LIKE to be away from the internet. specifically, i don't like missing out on what's going on in the forums here.

but i'm practically NEVER on over the weekend, and i often am off for 4-7 days at a time because i'm hanging out with my GF or something.

so i can leave, but then i'm very happy to come back
