    question for mothers

While you were pregnant, did you have any dreams about the sex of your child?

    If so, were they true?

Kinda doesn't count if you had an ultrasound and found out.

Just curious. Wifey had a dream bout baby. I figure she's got "insider" knowledge.

I did, and I was wrong both times. Hey, we should make a betting pool. When is your wife due?

hehe You know, I didn't ever have any dream about the sex. Oh well!

    I'm in for $1.

I say she'll have it on February 5th. (No offense to Mrs. Hoey about going overdue. )

Before I pick my date, is this the first baby?

My ex and I always figured our first would be a girl.

For several weeks before we found out the baby's sex, she had a few dreams that it was going to be a boy.

    Rebecca turns 11 in February.

That was funny, caribiner. Just casually said, Rebecca turns 11 in February.

hmm.... i know this little trick thingy that usually works. i've seen a bunch of people try it and out of all those, it didnt work only 3 times (myself included).

first u take the month that the mother concieved (i.e.: february = 2)
then u take the age of the mother when she concieved (i.e.: age = 20)

    u add those 2 up, so 2 + 20 = 22. then u split the answer up and add those 2 digits together (22.... 2 + 2 = 4). even numbers mean its a girl, and odds mean its a boy.

should work.... MOST of the time.

The thing that dank posted is sometimes called the "Chinese Birthing Calendar."

It calculated correctly for my first daughter, and wrong for my second.

Both my kids were about a week early, too. My older daughter was due March 4, and she popped out on February 27th. I was hoping for the 29th, since '92 was a leap year and I thought it would be so cool to be born on a leap day; her mom was freaking out about it.

I didn't read your post correctly, that's how.

Looked at the chart that chrissy provided instead.

My daughter would be 2 years old right now and would not be able to get into bars until 2076.

Considering: (a) I am her father ; (b) I was not freaking out about it; and (c) her mother was freaking out about it, it probably made sense for me to word it exactly the way I chose.
