Hey, does anyone know how to remove crazy glue (polyacrylate ester) from plastic? Basically, I have this pencil that has great sentimental value to me. Anyways, so it broke (a piece of plastic broke off the top near where the lead comes out). So... I had this great idea to superglue it back on. Anyways, long story short, I was able to glue it back on fine, but got some glue smeared onto the rest of the pencil. I tried to chip it off, but unfortunately without success. I'm a little apprehensive about using organic solvents to remove it because the pencil is just made of cheap plastic and is colored. If possible, I'd prefer not to smudge the color of the pencil. Has anyone ever been in this problem and if so, how were you able to solve it. Please help. Thanks.
