    Question

    just wonderin' if any of u have any recommendations for an entry level dvd player... i'm lookin to spend no more than 170-200 US.

    try Target, I just bought a Phillips one there that had everyhting I needed for 179. They even had other ones that were cheaper. Hint if you sign up for a charge card you will save 10% of your purchase.

    I just bought a toshiba sd1200, and I love it. Check out ubid.com and mobshob.com for deals on these. I was able to get mine for 161 shipped on ebay, brand new.

    Or, do the smart thing and buy an Apex. I personally bought a pioneer 525, which is a bit higher rated (and better in my eyes), but the Apex plays DVD/VCD/SVCD/CD-R/CD-RW/MP3...and for what, $170-$180? Do yourself a favor and buy that. The pioneer 525 was advertised somewhere in the paper for $195 this week...forgot where from.

    I got the APEX mentioned above. I love it. IT plays MP3s great and I have had not trouble with playing disks. I bought it included with tax for a total of 193. It has most of the features of the more expensive ones for a low price.

    Ha ya I used to work at target..... uggghh bad memories, but all you have to do is apply for it and you get 10% off, most younger people don't even get accepted, you don't even really have to fill out the thing right, the people there won't care, just find some teenager.
