No, because if I part it up, that doesn't ensure that everything gets sold.

parts are easier to sell than the whole Corsec. That's just the way it is. Anyways... I'd buy that for a dollar.

I would be interested in speakers. What kind of monitor you have? depending on price would be interested in that too.

just wait till you see everything on your list in the post, and then break it up Than you know you can sell everything! But if you break it up. Save the 80 gig hdd for me. And also save the 431 watt power supply.

I'd take the DVD Drive and the speakers - maybe even the Plextor CD-RW drive too.

    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

Here is my issue with parting it up. If you will notice from these posts, everyone basically wants the main pieces...and there are pieces that havn't been mentioned yet.

My problem is, I refuse to be stuck with pieces for months that I need to sell and have to deal with separately because I parted up the system.

Why not keep a running check list on this thread? People can claim the parts they want, but no one gets them until everything is spoken for. People might be willing to pick up the odds and ends if that's what it takes to get a good deal on the stuff they really want.

Just a suggestion, but this is probably something that would be better to sell locally by advertising in the paper or something. Not only will it save on shipping, but by not advertising in a forum, you will reach a better market for it. Everyone here is (fairly) technically inclined, and will be more likely to want to buy your system (and it is a very nice system) in parts. But some spoiled kid or newbie gamer who sees this advertised in the local paper or on a bulletin bored will jump on it quick.

What I'm trying to say is: aim for the stupid people.

Example: My roommate last year sold his 5 year old Gateway (2000) EV500 15" monitor for $90 by putting up flyers near the elevators in our dorm. These things were selling for about $45 shipped on eBay at the time. Now they don't sell at all.

Exactly--- particularly if you live in a college/university town you can unload prebuilt computers, parts or even 'service' for much higher than 'the going rate' by posting flyers.

I have made several hundred bucks charging $20 an hour or fraction thereof doing 'in dorm' PC servicing. Almost every time it comes down to one of 2 things: contracted a virus (because they didn't bother to run/update their virus scanner) or their file sharing program (napster or kaaza) either is sharing their entire collection or has eaten up so much space with fragmentary files that they ahve no room for their system's swap files.
