    Enterprise -- Season 2

Well, I've seen the season premiere for Enterprise, and let's just say it was even better than I had expected. Since many of you would not have seen this yet (UPN airs it tonight), I won't post spoilers.

Gotta love one of the local channels here in Calgary that runs the episodes a day before UPN.

I liked the first season, actually. I think it really captured what Star Trek was to a lot of people. Unfortunately, I haven't been watching any television at all for a while, so I'm going to miss most of this series.

Enterprise has put the Star Trek franchise back on the right track after the mediocrity known as Voyager.

Enterprise is fantastic, I really think they've got something good with this one. I gave up on Voyager after season 3, I just couldn't take it anymore. But Enterprise is stronger than Voyager and DS9 ever were.

Part of what I think keeps it interesting is that there is no Prime Directive yet, so it really is about exploration and discovery and not having a set of rules for them to go by. We're going to get to see how those rules came to be. Very intriguing.

Now if I could get all you fans to come over to my site where we have an all but inactive Enterprise forum.

Prime directive? We don't need no stinking prime directive.

Yep seqiro, there's more storyline potential for Enterprise unlike previous shows that had boundaries.

Hopefully it'll continue to get better as time goes on like The Next Generation and DS9 did {i.e. characters meshing and storylines solify}.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I liked all of them too... just some more than others. Of the newer series', DS9 was my favorite, but Enterprise is shaping up to be the next.

I agree with you guys regarding Enterprise shaping up to be a great series. So it's got a crummy theme song (as far as Star Trek goes), but it's the storylines that count.

What I really like, is how some episodes will be similar to what we've seen before, but they take a unique twist at the very end -- mainly due to the "no boundaries" note already mentioned.

The people behind Enterprise deserve a lot of credit, because they've done a lot to keep the Star Trek universe alive and well.

Ya, Enterprise is great. I didn't mind Voyager. I loved DS9, I think it is the best opening song of all of them. I am currently loving TNG. I really started getting into Star Trek with the start of DS9, so I never really watched any of TNG. I am getting the DVDs as they come out and it is a great show.
