Motherboard suggestions?? Nforce - Yay or Nay??

I'm looking for a new mobo to upgrade my current, so I can give my dad this one so he can hunt and peck his way across the internet all day without me having to stop whatever I'm doing to let him look at the "Cool website address he heard on the news" (probably www.thefifties.com or some stupid crap.

I know I'm going to get a AMD xp2200 to replace my old Thunderbird 1.2.. So it's just a matter of what are the good mobos for gaming out there.. I have read a little on the nforce, and have had mixed reviews, and I know some of you out there know your sh|t..

So basically, is Nforce any good?? and if so, what's the best brand to get?? If not, what would be the ideal (if not down right best) mobo that the xp2200 could compliment.

    Thx..

NForce motherboard is slower than KT266A so do not get it. If you want to go that route, wait for the NForce2 to come out. Other than that get KT333 motherboards.
