If your not eligible for the new customer $100 Mercata dollars, check Circuit City. They just lowered their price on this camera to $399. Plus if you open a new CC charge account, there is NO interest till July 2001! That gives you a year to pay it off!

I checked out the deal tbone posted and went to the store(the digital dog) that was offering it for $309. Great deal on the camera, but not their smartmedia, generic 32 meg for $99 and manufacturer recommended for $139????? Yikes! You can get a 64 meg for that elswhere.

Anyway, I ended up getting the camera from Circuit City because of their no interest deal for one year on digital cameras over $299. I can pay it off at my leasure over the next year, without interest.

This camera is sweet. Takes great pictures and has a lot of features.
