Taking the Violence down a notch in Hitman 2?!

Hitman 2 to get a few adjustments made...

Check this out!

"The Sikh Coalition is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Eidos in relation to the removal of all offensive images and content depicting Sikhs on the Hitman 2: Silent Assassin website; in recognition of Sikh concerns, Eidos and IO Interactive (the developer) have also agreed to change the existing versions of the game on all platforms currently in general circulation and adapt the next edition of the game, to be published for the Game Cube platform. Ashminder Kaur, as the spokesperson for The Sikh Coalition, negotiated a settlement that was favorable to both the Sikh community and Eidos. We have offered Eidos our organizational support in making these changes over the next few weeks."

It's nice to see Eidos going along with this but I don't really think its necessary for to really go through all the trouble. After all is this coalition trying to change movies and TV shows too? Why hit the game so hard?

Geez for a minute there its was nice to see diversity at work. Instead of always having the same old bad guys-the union of villains had been expanded. Bravo.

But alas it wasn't meant to be. Guess we are going to have to put up with generic bad white men forever.

An online buddy said maybe the mimes in NOLF2 will complain next.
As far as I'm concerned mimes need to be beaten hard. No one likes mimes.

To Eidos and IO Interactive,
I am writing to express my disgust of your recent release Hitman 2. The Caucasian Bald Male Association of North America would respectfully request that all images of bald Caucasian males be removed from your game. We suggest that you replace said images with a more generic looking human being or some other creature.

Maybe if they just replace the turbans with beanie hats and make the guys purpled skinned or something it won't tick to many folks off.

What if they take out all the people in the game and replace them with stick figures! Hmm...that might start a "Save the Stick-Guy Coalition"...

How about just a line. The Hitman can go around shooting lines...or dots! Maybe shoot dots? How about "Hitman 3: Just shootin at the sky"

After years of shooting good people who should never be discriminated against in anyway, The Hitman has made the choice to just shoot at air! "After years of killing folks that didn't exist, I just felt sort of bad about it. Then I thought, you know...I could shoot air! Yeah, cause like, air is evil man! I mean, people breath it in and kill it all the time so it should be okay to shoot at it right? Some times it makes that WHOOSH sound that scares the crap out of me so I'm going to strangle it's neck until it's not air any more! ...hey, does air have a neck? Hmm...I might need the silencer on this one..."
