    Cool BMW Films sub-plot game

so when i first watched season 1's sub stories i noticed that there were phone numbers that werent ***-555-**** which seemed a little strange to me. usually movies dont show real phone numbers on the screen. at the time i didnt pay any attention to it.

for those that dont know what the sub stories are, they are 5 shorter stories within season 1 of the hire. the sub stories seem to run parallel to the main films and have something to do with the drivers charecter. if you dont watch them all it probably wont make any sense... umm, actually for some watching all might not make any sense either. they are pretty vague, short and cryptic. go to bmwfilms and check out the season 1 films. browse through the 5 films and click the button. i suggest you watch them in order. this seems a little like the web game associated with A.I. when it came out.

so when i was watching them another time i decided to give one of the numbers a call and got an interesting message. from there ive spent a few sleepless nights trying to figure this thing out until i came up to a brick wall. so i stopped and forgot about it until i saw "the hostage" earlier this month. there was another number in there which led to a website and so on. here is a short clip from "the car thief and the hitman" (quicktime 361k. thanks to shogun and his lemonizer uploader) which shows a clue. you can find another clue in my sig.

i dont know what this game leads to, one site i visited suggested that you can win a z3 and one showed people who recieved the hire season 1 dvd's. i didnt take any notes when i first started with this stuff but i do know that there are clues on apple.com and marshall fields gift registry, nikon, and many other sites which may or may not be operated by bmw. there are clues in all of the season 1 films and i know the game is continued in "the hostage", but i didnt notice any clues in "ticker". that doesnt mean that it isnt there, i just didnt see any. i believe that ive reached as far as currently possible but im not sure since i havent played in a week now although there is one part that i couldnt figure out. it was a puzzle that M sent me which i posted up here and noone could figure out what the hell it meant. check it out, maybe some of the smart minds here can win a new bimmer

well... what i could see right now is that by adding the rows accross, going through the 5's, you get 15. and if you add the ones on the ends, still going through the 5's but not adding them, you get 10.

yea, u shoulda left it as a red x. now i'm all confused.
