Taking Monday and Tuesday off work, since on Wednesday we'll be driving to Omaha to visit our daughter and her husband.

It'll be nice to have a couple of days off, especially after just getting back from another week in "beautiful" Hutchinson and McPherson, Kansas. (I must say, though, that the weather there was great this past week.)

I'm going to Marysville, CA, until Saturday.
Then I'm going to visit San Francisco/Oakland area until Monday. Probably hit up Sacramento somewhere in there.
THe actual day though, I'm eating. Turkey. and trying to be social-able with a bunch of people I don't really know, who all think I'm a freak for some reason, because I choose not to shop at Urban Outfitters, and I prefer not to shave every day... =\

Boy oh boy, just like every holiday my girlfriend and I try to see both our sides. This year we're goin to her Grandma's in early afternoon then to my Aunt's in the evening. My cousin is coming home on leave from the US Marines(!) and sez he will not be back for Christmas or New Year's (any of you thinkin of Iraq???) so that blows, but I have off on Friday as well and probably will stay overnight so we can all build a fire in the backyard and get trashed all night. Happy Thanksgivin' all!

I've already have the 200 canoli shells made and stored away in my pantry -those will be gone before dinner is even served
If I didn't get to cook on Holidays-I'd be very very very bored.

Just going to kick it watching TV at home. I'm 2000 miles away from home and we only have 4 days off, so it's not really worth the flight. Anyways, I'll be back in LA for christmas anyways.

Well, we did ours today. Donnie's family was able to come down this weekend for Thanksgiving because Donnie DID HAVE orders for Kuwait. Wed, Donnie went in to pick up his orders and found that his spot was cancelled!!!! Since his parents were already to leave, we did it today anyway

Turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato poon, waldorf salad, greenbean cass., pecan pie, pumpkin pie, rolls, cookies and more. It was great. We are so thankful this year.

Well... if you want, you can send Lolita to me and have her cook for me. That way, you can still go to Boston Market.
