    In-N-Out Burger... Good/Bad/WTF???

What do you guys think of this place? I personally think it rocks ! However, they don't have one close to where I live, so I have to drive for 30 minutes just to go there, but I think it's worth it. How about you guys?

I love it - they just opened some in AZ in the last year or 2, I remember it from CA. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, there is always a huge line.

I can't believe they can't make the service faster, though. I mean, with only 5-6 things on the menu, you would think they would know what you want.

I use to drive half hour for In-N-Out too. Now i have one like 5 minutes away

Double-Double animal style, fries well done, and a side of spread pleeze.

If you ever saw the Big Lebowski, the chain is actually seen in there. I actually thought it was a big joke until I got out here. But it is probably one of the best fast food burgers ou there. Double Double Animal Style no Tomato for me! Or if you are really hungry get a three by three!

    Mmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmm, good.

And Mojo - you got cheesesteaks now......I would trade in and out for a good cheesesteak any day!

    For those who are intrested:

    The unpublished "secret" In-n-out Menu:
    • "Animal Style" - bun is grilled with mustard, sauteed onions instead of raw, pickles, extra "special sauce"
    • "Wish Burger" - no meat, i.e. veggie burger
    • "Protein Style" - lettuce wrapped around the burger instead of a bun for all of you who are in "The Zone"
    • "Old Fashioned Style" - ketchup and mustard instead of the weird special sauce
    • "Flying Dutchman" - two meat patties with two slices of cheese. that's it.
    • "Double Meat" - Double Double without cheese
    • "4x4" - 4 meat patties with 4 slices of cheese. Are you SURE you can eat that?
    • "2x4" - 2 meat patties with 4 slices of cheese for the fromage afficionado
    • "Grilled Cheese" - cheeseburger, sans meat
    • "Fries - well done" - get your fries extra crispy and brown the way you like them!
    • "Choco-Vanilla Swirl Shake" - just what it sounds like
    • "Neopolitan Shake" - a blend of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes.

in-n-out is the best thing that happened to ca, that and beautiful blondes with big, real "twins", IMO.

they opened one up a couple blocks from my house.
    we love each other.

I know what you mean. There is no good burger joint around here either. although there is a pub that has burgers around the corner from me. their burgers are alright, but that's ok since the alcohol makes up for it.

I've got a friend who ate a 13x13 after our CIF finals game. Everyone watched and it took him almost 30 minutes to finish it, but he did. Then, on our way to the cars, RIGHT before he got in, it all spewed out. Then he had the humor to have someone take a picture of him kneeling next to his little treasure, and we showed it during the team awards ceremony !

Dude, you guys are making me drool. It's one in the morning here in Korea, and man do I want to get some nice burgers with real melted American cheese.

The first place I hit up when I get back to the States is In-N-Out. Get a Double-double, fries and a Coke. Then for dinner I'll prolly hit up Fatburger with the Works, bacon, egg, cheese, Fat fries, and a shake.

My cholestorol has probably dropped considering I've eaten more vegetables this past year compared to the other years I've lived.

    Dude.

I feel the same way since I moved to Atlanta last year. There are some times when I really have the In-N-Out urge.

I drive past it everyday but have yet to stop in. It kind of looks a little skanky but everyone says I have to try it. Maybe soon.

    I normally abhor fast food - especially Mickey-D's, BK, Wendy's, Carl's, etc.

In-N-Out? That's in a whole other category for me.

    I personally go for an animal-style, protein-style double-double when I have the In-N-Out urge
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

Let me guess: you never has it before? Everything is made fresh there, i.e. no frozen burgers or fries! It's one of the most popular burger joints in SoCal especially on the way to LV (Barstow)!
