I guess in the long run, it's more economical than buying bottled water.
I've seen a couple of USED ones selling for $70 on ads

I do this all the time and it works pretty good. First get a glass and add a couple of cubes of ice and some water....it's practically free.

Our house bought one at Costco/GTM (you probably don't have one, its like returned stuff from costco that they sell) which has a refrigeration unit in it so it automatically cools the water. It uses those large water bottles. Think we got it for around 70-110.

I would suggest contacting Sparkletts or Arrowhead. hehe. or you can just uh...go to costco or sams club. Or walmart, K-mart, or Target. They may have a clearance on some of them. I know OSH's has them for 15% off in my area. You may also look into Home Depot. Actually, if you just want it short term, you should hit up Home Depot. You can return anything from Home Depot in 30 days for a full..I mean FULL refund. One time, I bought a Band Saw to build my speaker box, and Literally ate the saw blade up. I returned it all dusty with saw dust, and they accepted it. NO questions asked. cool huh?
