HOw about an Amazon coupon if you get your hands on one--I know they are selling the Visor Deluxe.

Why don't you just go to the Handspring website. I'm sure they have some in stock. Here's the link http://handspring.com/index.asp

I just got my visor deluxe from staples for 226 total.

    Here is how:
Call the staples 800 number. (The visor is not listed on their website so you have to call). Ask them if they have visors - $249 at Staples - in stock for your area. If they do then use one of the $40 off 200 coupon codes that was posted sometime ago. Better yet, go to techbargains.com and find one. Good luck.

I love it. Just like a palm but with more features. You get to choose a color (mine is blue) which is good. If I had any complaints it would be that it is rather thick (so that it can accomodate the expansion slot). Other than that, it is an excellent buy at 226 shipped - much better than a $250-impossible-to-find palm IIIxe.

    Hope you enjoy yours too!

There is going to be new Palm III called the Palm to launch M100 coming out soon to compete with the visor. It will have a 25%smaller screen and contoured edges so it will fit in the palm of the hand better,it will feature a flip cover with a small window that displays the date and time, as well as reminder notices, five removable front plates and a hot sync cable instead of a synchronization cradle.

It will also come in a variety of colors (the front plates)like gold, silver, metallic blue, light blue, and black. It is supposed to retail for $149.

Here is a link for a slide show on the new M100: http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/graphics/l...mm/palmm0.html

The case will have a thicker plastic than previous models had, and it will have dimensions similar to the Palm V, sources said.

The M100 will replace the IIIe PDA, which was introduced last year to compete on price with the Handspring Visor. Palm is working with third-party manufacturers on MP3 players, cameras, modems and self-contained backup products for the M100.

For your FYI, looks like these units will be hitting the market in the fall, just in time for school...
