the new, improved pop-up stopper thread

i've been using pop-up stopper for a while now. it's nice and cute, and i like what it's done for me so far. however lately they been having those new, improved pop-ups that get past that. they even have those with no boarders to exit out of and play music from one of those all-male burlesque shows or something and challenge the volume at which i keep my pc normally. it wouldn't be so bad if it didn't make me sh*t a twinkie every time i wanted to check tv listings or something like that. heck, some are so kind as to take up all the real estate on my desktop and scroll around to prevent me from clicking anything i might wanna click.

so anyhow, is anyone using something better than pop-up stopper that i should know about?
say "hi" to lumbergh for me

Nothing has gotten past this for me, and if it does a simple right click left click left click blocks it. I also really like it because it removes banners from pages.

Browse around the site and you can find a list you can import of preblocked ads/pop ups

Nope, I'm still using Panicware's. But the thing that annoys me is that the "hold the shift key" to allow pop ups does not work with javascript pop ups. So if there is anything better, I'd like to know.

Chimera has a built in pop up stopper and it is first rate. Nothing get's past this bad boy. I highly recomend chimera for it's fast loading pages, very quick start up times, uncomplicated inteface(I hate all tabs) and it's general unmicrosoftness

The first time i went there, I got a error about popups. I shut it off, went to the site, got no error, turned it back on, and got no error.
So to get it to work goto the site you want with Ad Sheild off, then turn it on while there and it will remove the banners.
