    expensive body scrubs

okay, i just ran out of a sea salt and oil body scrub that i got for free from sephora, and i'm sure as heck not paying $25 for another one... or even $15 for a brown sugar scrub at bath and body works.

however, $1.50 worth of dark brown sugar and olive oil from the grocery store, mixed up in the empty container, and i'm in bidness! and i smell like christmas cookies

Does that actually work? pretty much any type of body wash is expensive these days...

Great idea! I did a search and found some more recipes. Here they are!

heck, it works better than the expensive ones, i'm much happier with the homemade stuff than i was with any of the beauty store stuff. and they're both ingredients in "legit" cosmetics... people pay top dollar for little packets of extra virgin olive oil to put on their faces, and for the scrub part, all you need for the exfoliant is something in little crystals that have sharp enough corners to rip off the dead skin, like sugar or salt...

as for prm hooking me up, his money is my money... and i don't feel like spending our money on stupid stuff like that when it ain't necessary... and i'm as smooth as a playboy bunny!

fill a water-tight container (if you store it in the shower, it needs to be watertight so the scrubby crystals don't dissolve into useless syrup) with the sugar and then dump oil on it and stir and keep dumping until there's just a bit (less than half an inch or so) of oil on top of the sugar.

i'm thinking about dumping in a bunch of cinnamon and cloves, too... that would make me yummy

I wonder if baby oil would work in place of the olive oil?

    WTF

Soooo, if you take sugar and oil and rub it against your skin its good for it. And yet if you were to eat anything with all that sugar and oil, you'd get zits. What am I missing here?

Maybe if instead of smoking and drinking I rubbed alcohol and smokables under my armpits, I'd live forever!!!
