"A New York Christmas" (A new holiday classic)

I'm no big Matchbox Twenty fan but they've been playing this song by Rob Thomas here in NYC that's just incredible. He wrote it after September 11th last year and played it acoustically for the first time at a WPLJ christmas party ay Blythedale Hospital in Valhalla (Westchester Cnty). The hospital is for sick kids and each year the radio station does a party there to raise money for them.

This year's party is tomorrow morning 6am-10am and the talent on hand is pretty impressive (Joan Osbourne, Rob Thomas, John Mayer and Dave Matthews). Not too shabby.

John mayer reminds me very much of dave matthews-not online in the sound of his voice-but his facial expressions while singing..

Mayer's got some talent too. He also looks like Dave when he's playing the guitar. He'll sometimes play it real tight, almost like a mandolin.
