    Wierd encounter at CVS......

Ok so this evening, I venture out to CVS, because my sister and her kids are here for the holiday and her youngest daughter is getting a chest cold..since we are a family who loves to promote VICKS VAPORUB since childhood, I volunteered to go get some for her..I took my other niece and nephew with me (ages 13 and 16)..so here we are in the cold medicine isle, when i say to my nephew "I don't see any vicks" when this quirky looking little man says to me.."do you mean VICKS VAPORUB?"..and proceeds to start rubbing his chest and says.."I am addicted to that stuff-used it every day since I was a kid-it's great stuff"...me: "I know" him: "yeh, and did you know if you put some on a spoon and heat it up, it goes down better."....
I looked at my niece and nephew who were giving each other "THE LOOK"...I turned and said to the guy- "um..ok, I think you need to find a new addiction"..
He turns to my nephew who is now cracking up and says.."is this your mom, because if it is-she knows WAY to much"...it was just TOTALLY WIERD..needless to say-we found the vicks and got the hell out of there!

    You meet all kinds...

as far as the vicks goes..I'm sure "back when" they probably ate the stuff...obviously he had too much

I work with an older woman who's mother use to give her a tablespoon of kerosene when she was sick...if you can believe that one...
