As I mentioned on the ColombiaHouse DVD thread for $8.69/dvd or whatever (thats my cost based on Utah sales tax), I'm selling some decent quantities of DVDs on Ebay now and also sell other small items like that. I thought I had a good deal for shipping them out because I bought a whole box of Officemax 7 1/4 X 10" air-bubble type mailing envelopes for $10.99. There are 25 in the box so thats a whopping $0.45/shipment. I thought: Man, there HAS to be a better way, so here it is for all of you who are planning on doing some serious business over the next few months as I am:

Coleslaw posted a deal for $25 off a $50 purchase at www.atyouroffice.com, which has free shipping for orders over $25. He posted it in June but I thought I'd resurrect it, just go to:
www.atyouroffice.com/promos/rm_25

Then I got the Jiffy-Lite Mailer, Self Seal, (# 0)6" x 10"; 250 per carton. Its MSRP is $88.13 according to the site (like who here EVER pays MSRP for ANYTHING anymore?), which is reduced to $53.99 on the site, less the $25 off = 28.99 w/ free shipping. Thats much more reasonable. My unit cost went from 0.45/envelope down to just $0.116/envelope. I've only shipped off about 15 so far, but it was still a good deal!

Is there anyone interested in paying $15 + actual shipping for half my box? 250 is a lot. And no, the purpose of this post was not to sell my envelopes but to give you a heads up on another deal, I mean $28.99 for $88 in stuff is good, especially with free shipping and no tax. E-mail me at [email protected] if you're interested. Happy entrepreneuring (Ok that MAY be spelled wrong).
