you can use a stand alone dvd burner or a dvd burner/vcr combo. sorry, i dont have any more info on the subject, but the technology is out
Yeah buddy! Picked me up a Phillips DVD Recorder from Costco 2 weeks ago for $679. It works very well.
It has Svideo in, Component video in, RCA in, Digital Fiber in, Firewire in, it's got everything.
I put two one hour tapes from my wedding and put them on a single DVD. Now I'm recording DVD to DVD to make the rest.
