    I use to have a 24 hour fitness membership. It was like 20 something a month, with a $99.00 ( I think ) start up fee....

    I had a friend who she has a membership, and has only used it TWICE in the past year!!! Then she complains about not having money...

    I am thinking of getting one for Bally's Total Fitness down the street from my house, just so I can use the pool there, since I don't have access to one here....

    But alot of times, I think that they are just kinda a waste of money...and if it wasn't for the pool, I probably wouldn't even consider it....

    I guess I'm lucky when it comes to the choices of gyms in my area, I have about 6 in a few mile radius, I presently switched to world gym which is about $35 per month. There was another I was using previously for substantially more but I just wasn't using the pool and gaming courts, now that I think of it I wouldn't mind going back for the gaming courts, the pool always seems to be full with the water aerobics.

    I just joined a gym near work, which my company pretty much covers. They've got some deal worked out with the gym where their entry fee is reduced. So my company pays for the initial membership, and all but $10 of my monthly fee.

    So, to answer your question, I pay $10 a month for my gym!
