    Simcity4

Got SImcity4 on Saturday and it's quite fun. Pretty much the same as the 3000 version but graphics are way cooler. Fun game...worth the $54 I spent. I didn't get the transportation CD though.

Yo JackHammer, you can download the transportation bonus CD from Kazaa in just a few minutes. I don't have SimCity 4, but I saw the bonus CD on there and it was only 2-3 megs...which makes sense because it is only a few bonus vehicles (or so I've heard). Is there anything that makes SimCity 4 worthwhile for those of us who played the hell out of 2000 and 3000?

I haven't even got around to playing 3000. Guess I'll have to skip it and go straight to 4000.

This game is actually a pretty big jump over SimCity 3000, whereas I was a bit disappointed with the 2000 -> 3000 switch where almost all you got was a graphics detail improvement. I just picked up my copy (I certainly don't mean downloaded and burned...never), and I've played it for a few hours (it kept me up until 3:30 last night). I like, I like.

I got it and it wont run on my computer. It crashes while trying to load. I thought maybe if I got a NOCD crack it would help fix it but no. With the NO CD crack, trying to run Sim City 4 just powers my computer off and on . Something is freaking wrong. The same cds install fine on my brothers computer

My computer wouldn't recognize the bin/cue burned CDs, so i converted to iso and reburned. It installed perfectly after that, and plays fine. I mean...I bought it, yeah.

I use a program called (listen closely because this is difficult) BINtoISO. You can find it through a simple google search.

Turn antialiasing and stuff off on your nvidia graphics card... sc4 wouldn't run with them enabled.

Great game, I have a city of 130,000 with a ton of more land to go, and a lot of low density stuff still. Mayor rating of 62 in that city, too, $4200/mo income. =)

    I'm still calling it luck.

Ya, I figured out the FSAA was crashing the system. Read about it on another forum (quick google search people, I DONT visit other forums ). The game is hard as hell though! I cannot figure out how to have a positive budget. For a while i'm gaining like $1 , maybe $50 a month but then it all goes to hell again.
