    DOA: Extreme Beach Volleyball

Anyone played this game? I rented it just for *****s and giggles. The graphics are FREAKING AMAZING! The volleyball playing isn't ALL that fun. I mean, it's just volleyball with two people and all you can do is receive or attack. I haven't played much of the first player mode though. It seems to be more promising as you can play games to acquire new accessories/clothing for the girls. The girls are pretty hot for cartoon girls. I don't think it's a game worth buying but sure is worth a rental.

Got it last week and have been playing it these last few days. Graphics are pretty good. The volleyball matches aren't as much fun against the computer. But my wife and I play it and get a kick out of it.
This is kind of like a dressup game tho. Its fun up to a certain point. But after you beat the game once, you probably wanna stop playing it.

Hmm...I don't think I have any reason to buy this game. I thought about buying it for the graphics, but my girlfriend would definitely accuse me of ogling the girls. Besides...I couldn't really talk my girlfriend into playing the game with me. I used to play FIFA against her all the time, but when I scored three goals in 4 minutes (each with my goalie)...she stopped wanting to play FIFA...for some reason. Then I tried to get her to play a little NHL 2K3 as penance for dragging me on a hike...but after looking through the manual and seeing that their are about 8 pages of controls, she gave up on that one. Last she tried Panzer Dragoon Orta...and even that spanked her. How could I possibly scam her into playing a game that is basically all about T&A...

The other night when I was with friends and they had this game the girls didn't seem to like it much either. Although the music in the game does cater more to girls...ya know, its very jap. I don't see a reason to buy this game either, just to rent it and play it for fun a little I guess.

As far as playing video games with girls. It's freaking hard. They mostly ALL suck and I hate playing against ****ty players. It's no fun when I have 9235803242 points in tony hawk and they're hollering cause they just busted a 500 point combo.

I actually didn't buy mine, it was a bday present.
I'm kind of thankful that my wife would play games with me every now and then. She's a good sport and I know she doesn't know how to play some games, so I don't push it. We keep it simple, we play sports games with 2 buttons, or fighting games that allow you to punch any button and get some sort of combo going. Sometimes we go for racing games. I tend to keep her out of the major sports games like bball, nhl or football. I think thats probably more difficult for someone that doesn't play games often.

I don't think this'll stop anything though - the better you idiot-proof a system, the more impressive the idiot becomes.

There's another thread with my comments on this game...but I'll summarize here.

There's a volleyball game in DOAX? I couldn't have known...I thought it was barbie doll game.

Needless to say I hate this game...it's not even a game either...

    I agree with gear...

This just isn't a game, it's Boobfest 03'. If they would have done something to the gameplay to make it interesting in some way that would have helped like special moves or chick fights when you spick someone in the face...They needed to put something more into it other than naked chicks playing volleyball.

boobfest '03 is RIGHT! I finally got a peek of it tonight, and I do have to say that the graphics are some of the most fluid I've ever seen. Very nice job of rendering "round objects"

The gameplay seemed very basic, not much you can mix it up with, but the concept of each day and this Zack fellow made it have more depth.

First BMX XXX and now this. These companies come up with hooks to sell mediocre games. And see the commercial for this game? Those guys are so hard up they'd like **** in a box.

If you want a beach volleyball game that excellent gameplay along with attractive digital women, Beach Spikers for GameCube is another option. Just a heads up is all. Might be worth a rent.

Personally, I think the best V-ball game for the NES was Kings of the Beach.

Those NES games were great, but the best sports game ever was Blades of Steel for the NES. Sorry to get off of the idea of Volleyball...but BoS kicked butt.

that was the best baseball game, way better than that other one, i think it was called world series or something. never played temo bowl, But Blades of Steel was the best, full on fights, of course, I cheated and got one of those controllers that didn't have a d-pad, but had the circle (forgot what it was called) then i just pressed the turbo and beat the crap outta everyone, won the game because all their players were in the penalty box, or out of the game

OOOOHHHH YEEEAAAHH. It's all about Super Dodge Ball. For those who never played that game, go drag your NES out again and start looking on ebay or something for that game.
