Cooking Recipes for a nice Valentines Day Dinner?
So I dont' feel like waiting 2 hours to eat on Friday or paying $50/person at a nice sit down restaurant wiht reservations so I decided I'm cooking for my g/f. I however dont know many good recipes. Anyone have any suggestions on something nice to cook? She doesn't like seafood or mexican food. Desert ideas good too.
Thanks.

Also sit down and watch a few shows, I always get good tips. Or goto a local resturant and ask to buy the food raw the day before, like a chicken pasta dish. You might need to know some body to get that but it is worth a shot.

The Betty Crocker cookbook is your friend.
I would reccomend a fish steak or a cornish game hen.

for dinner-how about a nice marinated chicken breast, some rice pilaf, and a really big tossed salad-
then for desert-
buy a pack of chocolate mint wafer cookies-put a few on a plate-add a big fat scoop of GOOD vanilla ice cream, add a swizzle of kahlua over the top of that and then drizzle it with some plain ol hershey's syrup..you MUST have chocolate on valentines day..

I always suggest this, but it's my favorite...lasagna, green salad, cheese bread and cheesecake for dessert. Easy and delicious!
Good luck, and HAVE FUN!
