not for me, duh, but for a preaching conference, with her parents, and sister/brother in law...
(some of you will remember her - Karis - the one who flat out wont date me)
so anyways, its nice out, and i decide to ride the hour down to Lawton, OK where she's staying, on the bike... My parents happen to be down tehre for the preaching conference too, so i stay overnight with them... At this point i'm psyched. I've got good tires on, i just got my rear pegs welded (rear peg wheelies now an option), and my friend is in town that LOVES bikes.
So the next day, i roll up to the church, and pull a fairly descent stoppie. Yeah, its at 8am, so nobody is outside to see it... I think to myself DARNIT, not cool. I gotta get some people to see this schinz. I wanna feel like i'm badass
So anyway, i sit through all this preachin' untill 12 noon... I find my friend, and have to wait on her sister to get ready to head back to the hotel (its her sister's car) so she can change... Well, we finally head out 2 hours later, so i'm fairly pissed at all the time wasted that i could been out riding, but its all good.
I'm following along, and theres all these freakin red-lights. Dammit i'm pissed now... So, we finally come up to this one light... pavement is good, grippy, smoothe, nobody behind me, she's in the car right next to me... yeah, lookin' good... so i freakin pull this BIG PHAT Stoppie right up to the light - nice and high... I look over that they're just rollin.
What i didnt realize untill i started to head back from the hotel, is that i pull this stoppie, RIGHT in FRONT of the Lawton PD station. I have to admit, i felt pretty bad-ass for the rest of the day...
Not to mention the fun we had riding aroudn for only an hour, and that later on that evening i was pulling back up to teh church, with about 7 or 8 preachers standing there, and i pulled a sweet stoppie at the stop sign on the corner, and another one RIGHT in front of teh church before i pulled in the parking lot.
How's that song go?... oh yeah... i remember... "Wo! I feel good, I knew that I wouldn't of..."
