Great console RPG, good story, fun gameplay, loads of stuff to do.
And it's part 1 of a SIX part series (NOT including Xenogears).

never played xenogears...wanted to...but too lazy
game is abit harder than other rpgs....just finished the boss fight with that ...hmm super fast sword guy with Ziggy+Momo...didnt die once but took me a while to figure out how to beat him.

Bad graphics piss me off. I would LOVE to play final fantasy 1-6, but I can't stand the graphics.

Btw if anyone really cares...the best way to earn money is to play video poker. Just get a simple pair, any will do since it doesn't limit to jacks or better. The place where you make the real money is playing high or low, where you guess if the next card is higher or lower. Get it right and they'll double your money and you can repeat until you get 16x your winnings.
Now since in the casino you use tokens instead of real cash (and you can't go from tokens to straight cash), buy 99 recovery packs (ethers, med kits, escapes, and something else I forget) that cost 9900 total and sell them at the nearest store. You should earn around $11000.
Considering I went through to the durandal with only $900, this is a blessing. I can finally afford ammo!

yeah I needed a good RPG to play so I picked this up off ebay. Fun so far, only about 6 hours into it. But only about 3 of that is probably actual game time... sooooo many cut scenes and movies, I just want to run around and do stuff already. Hopefully later i'll be free to roam. Enjoyable so far though

You should have some powerful tech attacks that you can do in one turn (4AP). What tech attacks have you sped and leveled up?

havnt played for about 2 weeks
my best attack is probably JR's .... Waltz? or the one after that...the attack all ones. I fed him the item to get his hp down to one then give him bravesoul!!! ahahahah....all first row enemies die right away. My usual 3 is Shion Jr Chaos. I might replace Shion with KOS-MOS once i can....but i heard shion has good magic.
i gave up on ziggy lol....

Yeah...the email stuff sucks. I wish I had did that. I think you should be fine. I never spent that much time running around leveling up. Ziggy sucks. So does Momo.
This game is very good, Freelance. While there are a lot of cut scenes, it does advance the story well. And in these types of games, the story is key.
the one thing i hope i wont, but probably will be, disappointed about the game is the battle techniques. Theres not many different options on battles...after a while u only use the same tech or ether over and over.....gets repititious. Like i said, right now, all i do is start off with the Dancing Waltz? or whatever to kill off enemies on the nearerrow, then nature's warth or something next or RDrill (oh and seems like i wont be able to get all of Kos-mos weaposn and techs), to finish whatsever left.
the casino after a while just hurts my eyes....cant even tell diff btwn J and Q after a while or the 8 and 9 hahahaha.......
maybe im just used to the FF series or Chrono Cross type RPG more....more regular attacks and less use of specials compare to using speciall all the time.
i haven't read up too much on the game, honestly, but if i'm not mistaken, it wasn't released by square, right? square did xenogears, and i've always liked their games. is it very different from xenogears? and who made this new version again?
