OMG! Im totally convinced now that this game will kick arse for sure! I was a total devout believer that Shadowbane would rule all MMORPG's in its genre, but ever since I got a taste of it....well...Im looking forward to two games. WoW, and Horizons! I wonder which will come out on top upon release! Cant wait!

That's a ways away...and knowing blizzard, expect late 2004.
well I already singed up for horizons beta months ago, so hopefully that will kill the waiting time
Plus you know those release dates are always wrong....expect it to be pushed back a year or two

You know, Freelancer started as a table top game...
I've been playing the Star Wars Galaxies beta for a few months now...and I have to tell you guys that this is the best MMO I have ever seen. I'm not sure if WoW can hang, with its cartoonish graphics.

saw some screenshots of the game. Yeah the graphics are cartoonish. But that's just the style of Warcraft. I do think its any worst just because its cartoonish.
I saw WoW at E3 last year, I thought it looked pretty good. I didn't get a chance to play it tho.
What I'm very concerned with is that the graphics already look dated. By the time it actually comes out, it may look very outdated (look at freelancer).
I wonder how hard it would be to program a flexible graphics engine when you start the project, knowning that it will be a long development period. Thus towards the end of the project, you can revisit the graphics and update them.
