now THIS is what ive been waiting for - time to pony up the moolah for a good Asus board and that extra corsair XMS PC3200 stick.

o a side note, its paired up with the release of the new 3.0Ghz P4 chip, at 200Mhz FSB, which puts to use the DDR400 specs. Thing is you have to have this processor to get DDR400 performance, otherwise it drops to DDR333 at the most.
even so, im excited with this chipset - it extends the future-resistance of a system. Im sure maybe Asus or Abit will find a way to get that 400MHz performance...

Occasionally, we even post stuff like this on the news page...like, Monday.

Unfortunately ASUS P4C800 Deluxe doesn't come with new CSA. If it were equipped with the new bus, it would be another solid gold medel candidate.

You are right. It doesn't seem to make any difference now. Just like the somewhat new AGP8x. It's always good to have but not necessary. That's why I said if ASUS could use CSA, they would most likely be the champ of new motherboard lines. Don't know why they choose not to. Perhaps the production cost.... who knew.
