I once sent my college roomate a home enema kit as a gag birthday gift. Waited till he went home for break, then sent it hoping he'd open it in company,

I once entered a drawing contest thru the comics when I was a young'n. My prize came through the mail, and ended up being a little squeeker that you could attach to the bottom of your shoe, or someone elses, as a gag.

On another board I frequent, someone had organized a "white elephant swap." Hundreds of people put their name in a proverbial hat, and got names of one other person who participated. We all just sent random, strange things to one another. It was a mad success, pretty fun, and cool seeing all the packages people got.

I got a college profesor's name drawn...I knew I had to pull through, so I sent her a strange wooden statue that my dad traded for a pair of levi's in cuba. (later found out it was mahogony- and quite nice) I also sent her a molding of my ear that I got in high school, and I sent her some other small random things.

Someone sent me some awsome micheal jackson trading cards in package from the 80's and a pack of E.T Cards, and lots and lots of other srange obscure items. Fugly stuffed animal, ect ect

Maybe someone should organize one on this board. Could be alot of fun.. . I throw my name into the hat if anyone's game.

Hmm, I'll have to think about the strangest things.

But man! That white elephant gift exchange would be a BLAST! I'm up for organizing it if we get enough people that would be interested. I'll start a thread later.

Maybe declare an arbitrary number for the minimum to kick it off. Say at leaste 20 people, Jenny?

one of my friends sent me a free sample of goodnights diapers for older kids... it came with just a sticker labeling the address so the lady at the package room was laughing at me

I got him back though by sending him a free sample of astroglide from technicalvirgin.com, then stealing it from him and putting it all over his door knob while he was out.

I've sent a friend a dildo that was wired to vibrate as soon as he opened it. He always opened his mail at the dining center, so it made it even funnier.
