    Video Card "Device Failure"

Ok, so I built a new computer back in feb, here are the specs

    Pentium 4 2.4
    Asus P4G8X Deluxe mobo
    512 PC2700 DDR Corsair memory
    80 gig 7200 8mb HD
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro <-- problem here
    liteon 48x24x48 burner
old dvd drive from old computer
    SB Audigy 2 sound card
Got a case from colorcases, and a 400W powersupply
WinXP, all updates, bios all update etc etc

Ok so the problem is lately my video card keeps failing, at least once a day. My computer will freeze for a second or two and then kick back in way low graphics mode, I'll show a pic of the error. I have tried everything I can think of, but it just seems to be crapping out on me. I am going to take it into work and try it on another computer to see if I still get problems. But I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice.

I can't really think of much else unless the card is just bad.

yeah I have searched online and people are having all sorts of problems, but not a specific problem/fix... so I don't know

I have the latest drivers, and SP1... hmm now that you mention it I did just install SP1 a little while ago. But even then the card was still acting wierd, not dying like this though
