i'm so proud that MI is one of the states that has passed these laws
it's unfortunate when ignorant legislators (trust me, i see them in action every day....many of them are just plain stupid) who don't understand technology give in to special interest groups like the MPAA and pass these dangerous laws![]()
Yep, that is pretty stupid.
Call me Fleet Admiral §pêêЃrêák™! Go get me some coffee.

If you live in one of these states, or in a state that is considering one of these Super DMCA laws, you should contact your representatives immediately. And you might want to remind them that if they have any kind of normal IT setup, they are probably also breaking these laws.
I think it would be *incredibly* amusing if lawmakers themselves got jailed for writing these ridiculous laws. A savvy lawyer could have a field day with dozens of them. Hell, a savvy lawyer could sell tickets.

Stupid politicians who don't know jack about IT making IT-related laws. I'm in big trouble (NAT, firewall, WEP, and etc) if that law passes in California.
