UPDATE-I JUST BOUGHT ONE!!hey i saw on another board that you can get a western digital 30 gig drive for 80 some odd dollars. there are some tricks to it though. first is you have to go to staples, then you have to have them pricematch it with buy.com that was it for like 125 or so. then Use code 88452 on checkout and get 50 of 120 (courtesy of sphiatt). staples will add in the factor that they have to add a few dollars for shipping but this will still be a good drive just for storage!! good luck guys

I just called Staples and they said they have to tack on 17.25 because Buy.com has a shipping charge. Is this bogus or have other people had this problem? The CS rep said the final charge would be 142.25 before the discount 50 off $120 discount.

    Sounds nice and all, butttt

I bought the WD 45GB 5400 RPM for 152.95 all said and done, most the time Staples voids the fake coupons, and for 15-20 bucks extra you get 15 GB, I did it back when a rebate was avaliable... may want to check wdc.com for that one...

I used one of those $100 off $150 purchase from a while back, and staples voided the coupon. They claimed it was for something else. This is what I did though. I purchased the items with a good credit card, my platiunum citibank. WHen I got the bill for those $90, I called up the CC and told them to dispute it, and mailed out a copy of conformation from online. About a month later, all is well and I won the dispute. I got 3 pritner cartridges and a natural keyboard plus for $50 =>

just use a good CC, save your online conformation, and dispute. If your CC company is any good, they will credit it to you even if the other company doesn't =>
