Its very probable Doom III will be out this year, but 7/31 is too early.
ebgames says 11/15/03 which is more realistic.

Trust ebgames...they're actually in the business of video games, not Amazon.

btw ebgames is usually right unless they really jumped the gun, like a release date of 1/1/2004 for Worlds of Warcraft last year.

I think Amazon is offering the pre-orders in July...but even that seems too early.

From what I can see from Game Spy, IGN, Game Spot, and Game Rankings - Doom III isn't out until November this year.

yeah that just seems too early. November-ish would be more likely, and that would give them all of the holiday sales.
