Verizon DSL will be starting a new price structuring in June, but if you call Billing and ask them if about it they will start you on it early (2-3 days).

ALSO if you live within 12,000 feet of the main office or somthing like that you can get bumped up to 1,500 Kbps for the same new price which is $34.95!

So now we get faster download (double) for LESS MONEY!

It's about damn time.

Also, aparently if you have a Fujitsu modem (Frame Relay) you can't be bumped up to the 1,500, but the others are ATM. I called tech support directly (the others are all worthless) and asked the guy about the Modem situation. He said that was correct and said if I canceled service and then turned it back on there was a chance I'd get different equipment. (SO that is what I'm going to try doing.)
