Deals You Haven't Gotten

I was reading one of the previous posts about all of the T-Shirts that they hadn't received.How about a GotApex NotDeal forum? Just kidding, but I have received most of the things I have signed up for. There was a deal a couple of months ago for a free meal for two if you filled out a survey( I think it was after you visited the restaurant). Well, I signed up for a free meal for a local restaurant expecting the tickets within a week and I never received anything.

I've been "stiffed" on so many offers that I don't sign on for most of them anymore.

Or my Postman has a drawer full of my stuff!

I ordered chocolate samples, Jelly Bellys, T-shirts, keyboards etc and never got any of them.

I should have kept a record of the info just see who they are. I think the promise to send a free gift is a way to get us to fill out a survey or add us to a list of good addresses.

Not much we can do about someone not sending something we're not paying for.

I see by the posts that a lot of people do get the items, but I wonder how many don't!

Well, I have not gotten lots of things, but I have gotten quite a few things...I have about half-a-dozen free shirts to prove it! Plus a nifty laser pointer that amuses my cats for hours.....

Um...I don't get at least 90% of the things that I "order". But, it is free so whatever. I am pretty happy with twhat I have gotten.

Well going back to the original statement. Please don't start up another forum. I think most of us have enough trouble with the "Need Deals" and "Got Deals" forums as is.

I have got a lot of stuff so I can not complain. And its free so be quite. They are taking a big hit in profits by giving you free stuff to all of us here so we should thank them for that.

i wouldn't say a big hit in profits, i'm sure they make it up in the advertisement they get in these forums.
if it wasn't for some deals posted on these forums, i wouldn't have bought a lot of items from these online stores that i've never heard of before.
So yea, they're spending lots of money giving away free items, but i'm sure they wouldn't be doing it if they were taking continuous losses.

I have gotten alot of stuff and I am sure that I have gotten stiffed on some but I am not complaining.

One Question: For anyone who did the Staples deal for the Cordless Phone Rebate, did anyone get there money back yet???

msventre, i got my check a while ago, you had to call them and ask for them to send you the rebate form, but it had to be mailed by July 31, 2000, so if you didnt get the form, too late.

I've signed up for most things... but the only thing I've really gotten is the Cisco shirt, cordless screwdriver, and that's pretty much it.

But I don't really care... as long as I DO get my rebates back... such as the E-Stamp/HP/Buy.com one... which I did, yesterday.

I received so far some t-shirts, a nice heavy silver bottle opener, oodles of food, and today, my stainless steel flashlite! as you can see I am easily amused.

I just remembered. I didn't get that cheapo pillow either. And I didn't get the Rodent repellent either. I was hoping that if the repellent didn't work on those steenkin' squirrels in my back yard, I could at least smother them to death.
