Hey I actually just bought this fan for my AMD which was running really hot

5600rpm and it's quiet?? 38db(a)? I have a feeling you are not talking about this one...sure doesn't seem like a quiet fan..

Yeah that's the one and actually it is really quiet.......I think it has something to do with the TMD (Tip-Magnetic Driving)....... trust me it is really quiet.

I happen to have a very slightly used on. Bought it off newegg for $20, I can sell you mine for $15 shipped. Its supposed to be CoolJag's most quite P4 fan. Newegg says 29db(A) @ 3600 rpm. Of course its louder when the fan spins @ 5000 rpm.
