Question for Someone who Knows NYC

I am going to the Jacob Javitz Convention Center on Tuesday. I haven't figured if I am taking a train or a bus from the Trenton area.
If I take a train, how far is it from the train station to the Convention Center? Are there busses that go from the RR station or will I have to take a cab?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

If this goes in another forum, let me know.

Are you taking Amtrak or Jersey Transit?

Either way, you'll end up at Penn Station at 34th st. Come out on 34th and head west (a left if you're standing on 34th facing Citibank). You can either walk about 5 long blocks or you can take a bus to the west side highway which is where the Javitz center is. They run up and down 34th st. all day.

It's not too tough to get to the Javits via public transportation. And even if you were to take a cab, it wouldn't run ya too much. Also, the walk from any of the transportation hubs (Grand Central, Penn Station, Port Authority) wouldn't be too bad if it's a nice day and you aren't loaded down with bags, etc.
