    Colorized Shirley Temple movies, $6.08 @ Sam’s Club (VHS)

    If you have a daughter in elementary school, she’ll most likely love these. They’re great birthday gifts and are fun for their sleepovers. My local Sam’s club had a pretty good selection of her movies. I know these have been released on DVD but I didn’t notice any in that format (YMMV). These are $9.98 at Amazon so you can save about 40%.

    Plus it’s a howl to see your kid’s reaction to all those old planes, trains, automobiles and telephones. This was mainstream entertainment in the 1930’s. Ms. Temple (now Shirley Temple Black) is currently 75 years old.
