    I stole this from http://www.dealhunting.com/

Bookmark the site below and take a minute to go there every day.

Heres a chance to do something for someone else, and it wont cost you a cent!

This is a great deal ... for those who are suffering from starvation! At
www.greatergood.com there are two ways that you can help make a difference. One is
to click on their link "donate free food." For every click their sponsors will donate enough
money to feed a person for one day. Visitors to the site can make one donation per day.
The second way to help is by making purchases through their site. If you email your
receit to them, they will get a percentage of your purchase price. It takes very little time
to help make a difference at this site. You may have seen or heard about this website
and if so it's just a reminder to visit again!

This is a legit deal, coocoomike. The sponsors for the site pay donations when someone clicks on the site. That is how food is donated.

Dark helmet maggie will be on your ass. it may not be a deal of all deals but it might be a refferal. It sure sounds like a refferal to me. what if he is a scam artist and owns the clicking site and the donation goes to him and he pockets it. sounds like a good deal to him huh?

I don't care if it helps people or not, it simply doesn't belong in the Deals section of this BBS. It isn't a deal. It seems quite obvious to me.

Oh take off your darn helmet and look at the light. It's a deal because it helps others out who are needy.

I have never seen a bunch of bleeding whores like there are here.

you want to take from and screw every retailer you can, jump on offers not intended for you, or errors, and then bitch when they refuse to deliver.

here's an oportunity to help people that need the basics for life. they don't care about a bigger monitor, they are starving to death. all it takes is a little of your precious bitching and deal searching time to help someone else.

too bad your mothers never taught you not to be such a greedy, stingy bastard.

you might think they were asking you for a dollar or two.

now you can bitch about my post.

My biggest problem with this site is that obviously someone is using it to make a buck. If they were that concerned about helping other people why wouldn't they just donate all of the money to charity instead of pay for the site, hosting, and support? Don't get me wrong. I give to charities, but only those that I know a large percentage of their revenue goes to the people that need it.

It is no more obvious to us that you actually give anything at all to charity than your claim that the webmasters do. I remember when I made purchases from Value America, they gave 1% or something to charity. If someone had listed that under the deals and not said anything about the value dollars, guys like you would be bitching about that too. But when value dollars were involved, no one ever mentioned that a percentage of sales went to charity.

I can bet you that if someone found some wild coupon for it, no one would be complaining.

Charity can be sold as a commercial product as long as its mutually agreeable to both the buyer and seller.

As a buyer I don't care how this site operate for profit as long as they carry out its promise to help people.

To me, helping another needy human being for just one click is hell of a deal.

These people who are bitching..... in the time they have taken to post these whines, they could have already visited that site and helped someone less fortunate than themselves.

    Dear Maggie,

You make me sound like a hypocrite.

They should make a donation forum, just like the other bull$hit forum!!!!! Need Deals. This is for DEALS ONLY. I don't think donation crap goes under this catagory!!!

ANYONE who is complaining about this being posted here should be given a bunch of paper cuts and a lemon juice shower. What did it take out of your day to read the post, see it wasn't for you, and click your back button? You're probably on dsl or cable anyways, so who cares? There MAY actually be a few people out there who still care about others, and if a few of them see it and click on the site, then it was worth it being posted. The rest of you whiny brats go back to your too-easy life and joke of a job (be thankful you have one) and leave the good people alone.

i have seen many of the donation sites posted on here, and have clicked every time i see it... only takes 1 second of your time, in return can save 1 day or more of a needy's life...

    Cool

This IS a good "DEAL" for everyone!

I sure got the pot boiling with this post.

I knew some "creeps" would be crying about this, they always do.

I defend this item as "THE BEST DEAL"!

It's A great deal for those of us that want to help others, and can do it free. All it takes is a little time and a few mouse clicks.

It's also a great deal for the complainers and whiners. They get a chance to elevate their blood pressure and post a bitch. And, it's free for them also.

I'm glad Apex has allowed this string. As I said, I think it IS a "deal". I also think it makes the site much more interesting and gives us feedback that real live people are here at "Got Apex".

I thank all the "real" people for taking an interest, and do hope you continue to use the donation site.

Also, if anyone thinks I benefit from this, that's ok. At least your thinking something.

    For those of you that don't like the content of this "DEAL", hold your breath while I apologize;

    Mo

I guess the new rule should be no posting off topic, unless you can be moralistic, self-righteous and condescending then post what you want wherever you want, eh?

I'm sick of the politically correct - and if you think clicking is somehow helping... well you've got another thing coming. Rarely does giving money ever really help. Give time if you want to be charitable!

Haven't you heard of the saying "every penny counts"

Your $1 may not help alot but the 18000 members of Got apex's $1 each counts alot.

heck, it's not even asking you to actually donate a friggin dollar.
it's just asking for 1 click. How many times do you guys do that a day reloading this forum?
