Anyone have any coupons for laptops/desktops or monitors? I am in the market now for both (probably a laptop) and would appreciate anything anyone has.
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

Dell SB has the new Core 2 Dimension 9200. Most recent mailing received of percentage off coupons from SB (expire tomorrow, pretty useless so far) WORK on the 9200 if someone is looking for a fairly high-end machine from Dell.
    Whut?

I am looking to buy a Latitude D820, fairly loaded. Pricing out on dell.com SB it's about 2,000 + tax. Dell education site it's about $2,175+ tax. I can get a build to order on ebay for around $1,900 total. Fair deal or are there coupons or better deals via Dell to be had? Haven't had much success finding Latitude coupons. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip but I've looked there as well. They don't quite have the system I'd like there.

Has anyone received an e-mail from Dell stating that the Coupon Code that you've won is no longer valid?

I got that, and then they gave me a new one "based on my answers to their marketing questions" or something like that.

I must have said I was planning on buying a digital camera, because they gave me a 20% off digicams coupon.

I'm new to gotapex but was referred here by a friend...I'm looking to buy an inspiron e1505 and I'm wondering if anyone has a better coupon than the 20% off regular price that I seem to be able to find all over the place. I look to purchase a laptop within the next few days here so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance!

    Bought from Dell outlet, thanks!

I see Jeffbx up there, hi Jeff! My wife and I are actually still using the Inspiron 3500 we bought from you a year or two ago. I replaced the hinges and top cover, replaced the batteries, and it has been one fine laptop running WinXP although it's only 400mhz.

    Precision Notebook Codes

It appears that this month has had few posts on codes. Most codes previously posted have either expired or reached max limit. Would anyone have a working code I could use when purchasing a precision notebook? I am on a budget, and the only way I can afford it is with a killer coupon code. Any posts or IM's would be truly appreciated. Thanks

Hey Iowa! Good to see you around. That's awesome - glad you're getting some use out of it, because all it was doing was collecing dust at my house.

Hey Whitedog, watch the outlet. Here's the trick -

    Use the small biz outlet:

    http://outlet.us.dell.com/ARBOnlineS...=28&l=en&s=dfb

Change stockroom to 'Inspiron & XPS Notebooks'
Click on the price column so they're sorted by lowest price first.

Around 20 minutes to the hour, start refreshing the screen (actually, I think clicking 'submit' works faster than using the refresh button). Right around 10-20 minutes before the top of the hour, Dell will add new systems to the list, and the cheapest ones go QUICK, like within seconds of being listed.

If you see one that's a good price, add it to your cart immediately, even if all you want to do it look at the specs. If you don't see anything, give it another hour when the next set of machines are posted.

Using this method I was able to snag a machine for $400 back a year ago when the cheapest machines around were close to $600.

As I stated above, I purchased from the Outlet last week. I got an E1505 with a Core Solo 1.86ghz, 1GB, 60GB, 128MB x1300 for $560. It was the cheapest price I had seen in a week on outlet (for the options I wanted. Memory and GFX), but maybe I missed the really good deals that Jeff was describing.

Also, I noticed that sometimes the website doesn't properly filter the systems when you specify a configuration or type (refurbished, scratch and dent, etc). Maybe this was just me, but I also just found the Dell website to be a real pain in the butt. Not to mention I am on the phone with Dell Outlet trying to get my shipping charge refunded since they are offering free shipping on most notebooks. The rep's name is Eva, and I highly doubt that is her real name if you know what I mean.
