I have to raise a red flag here.. this is somewhat intentional scamming and fraud of a company.

I can understand that you can sometime make deals by doing pricematchs, and they can be done in good faith and get some good deals, but in this case you are suggesting people to try and steal 10 drives for the price of one.

This, in my humble opinion is not a deal, and I would humbly request that any moderator that should stumble into this form lock it down and send it into never-never land.

There is a difference between using a policy to your advantage, and abusing a policy. This "deal" would fall so deeply in the abusing a policy, that it could land you in jail.

    thanks,

    18003STAPLE
    32X/8X/4X REWRITABLE BY PLEXTOR http://www.computers4sure.com/Produc...roductID=96893 $2,088.99

If you type model number from computers4sure at staples this item comes up for $2,992.99 , but title and description clearly indicates its one CDRW drive, but in reality its 10 oem drives.Ingram micro has 17 units in stock , if they tell you its not in stock demand them to do "dcc" that means to transfer order to warehouse that have in stock. http://www.staples.com/catalog/brows...223&PageType=1

    Your job:

    To call 18003staple
tell them its price error one drive cant cost $3000 have them price match ecost price of $208.89 and you can use 40 off coupon code:90525 http://www.ecost.com/home.asp?bounce...3FDPNo%3D57512
I have several reps agreeying thats its price error , but they said no matter what we cant pricematch such difference but in their policy it doesnt say limit on pricematch difference so its bull. Give it a try if it works you owe me one drive!

I agree with you guys about the scamming/tactfulness of his post, but let's not make this place another anandtech with 50 billion police and moderators locking/banning/whatever . it appears that fatwallet is headed in that direction also.

Ooh, you get another agree from me. Really, folks, what is locking a post going to do? And banning a person? C'mon, I really only see a very small handful of personalities that deserve being shot into the ether. banning and locking should be reserved for only the most heinous crimes.
