    My g/f recently got into the sims from a friend of hers. I (stupidly) bought her TSO for $20.

    Maybe I'm wrong here, but check this out. I downloaded the trial and they ask you for a CC#. Basically, from what I figure, it lets you play free for 14 days, then charges your CC. If I can do that, why pay for the game in the first place?

    Perhaps the $20 (or $10 with this deal) is really more for people without broadband.

    I'd appreciate anyone's insight on this, preferably someone who's done what I have. Thanks!

    EDIT: OT - perhaps this is the same for Planetside too? Can anyone confirm?
