Try swapping slots with the two cards. Basically, you don't want the SCSI and Live! sharing an IRQ. Also, disable SB16 Emulation in the Device Manager. That should free up an IRQ if your low on resources. Also, try changing the I/O or memory ranges of the Live! card in the Device M.

Check for chipset drivers for your motherboard too, and update the drivers for your SCSI card and the Live!.

    Question

While I had my sound blaster live value sent back to be replaced, I installed a 12x S&F CDR. It connects to the included SCSI card. Today I got my sound blaster card back and am having problems. The SCSI card shows a code 30 error under device manager when the sound card is installed. They are both using irq 11 and I don't know what the problem is. I have removed the cards many times with no luck in solving the conflict.

    Nanotech9,

You rule! I disabled SB16 Emulation in the Device Manager and then put the SCSI card back in and now it is working. What did I lose by disabling the SB16 Emulation?
