    ESPN's playmakers

so i just watched the first episode of "playmakers" on espn, and i must admit, i kinda liked it. also, the fact that it's rated M makes me like it more. it's different than what i expected, but it's not bad.

    anybody else watch it? thoughts?

i caught it starting at like 8:45ish..

I liked it, although the running commentary was kinda annoying.

it seems like it's just going to be "Any given sunday" - the tv series...and well...that's what it seems to be, with a little more twists and what not.

and from the commercial's, it was actually exactly what i had expected .

I came in watching it with expectations that it would be the worse show ever. I actually enjoyed some parts of it.

I thought it was pretty good. I'll watch it again.

It's kinda funny to me how that "big bad linebacker" has toohpick arms though.

I caught the first 10 minutes yesterday afternoon, and got sucked in. I agree, it is like Any Given Sunday...The Mini series. I caught more of it lastnight. It was a bit confusing at first but once you got the story line, it was pretty good. It may be something I might get addicted to.

The linebacker seems to be the most intriguing of the group because theres a lot more detail so far into his background.

I think the Linebacker known as Big O is interesting because of his past issues, and the rookie with the drug habit. I like how they keep reiterating the "just say no to drugs", and the narration..."you didn't listen". I'm wondering when they will fill in the blanks for some of the other characters who are of importance, or is this it.
