    USB 2.0 in Windows 98

I have a USB 2.0 card that I want to install in a computer which has Windows 98.
The card's requirements state that Windows 98 SE is required/ I have Windows 98SE which I could install, but am afraid that things may get lost during the installation on a 120 GB hard drive.

Is there a Windows 98 update available which would install the drivers for USB 2.0?

I don't think so. I believe the first win 9x support for usb 2.0 was in 98se.

I don't think Microsoft supports the 98 OS anymore. However I think you can search for patches to Win98 for USB 2.0 drivers. Just my two cents.
