someone told me that u can't flash your bios too many times... like only allowed once or else burn out. I think it is bs but what is your verdict?

    Unhappy

I put my computer together a couple of days ago and I just noticed that the bios detects my 256mb pc133 as a 128 pc100. I have an asus k7v. Does this sort of thing happen?

flash your bios. It sounds like it is out of date and detects the chip as a 128MB
