S; Waiting for a call

I got a call from my younger brother earlier today telling me that he was going to be close to me and inviting me to watch him play his tournament tomorrow. I told him that I had a meeting but maybe we could meet tonight instead and grab some dinner, plus I would see what I could do about catching a bit of the tourney after my meeting.

He said that sounded good and that he would give me a call a bit later. So now I have been waiting a couple of hours for him to call me back. He was supposed to call as soon as he figured out where he would be...so this is a bit annoying. He is probably out surfing would be my guess. Of course the place where he said he is going to be will take me 20 - 30 minutes to get in the general area, so that makes the delay added up to even longer.

Well my brother finally called about 11:30! The little bugger went surfing and lost track of time. When he got back his team mates grabbed him and when he went to call me his cell phone died. He had to wait to get back and then for it to charge before he called me. So when I told him I had waited until 8:30 to eat dinner because I had been holding off for him he felt really bad.

He was supposed to call me today to go to his tourney and then we are supposed to go to dinner tonight. So far, no call....this had better not be a repeat performance!
