Thread: Scanner Canon 620U Copy

    Scanner Canon 620U --Toolbox Problem

    Not sure if this is a hardware or software problem. Have a 620U scanner worked fine on my old computer Windows 98. Now on Dell 4600 P4 with Windows XP. Installed new Driver SG-CSU522.exe and ScangearToolbox CSv223.exe but mysteriously the COPY button does not work. Did diagnostic test on computer and told Scanner tested "successful".
    Tried reinstalling Scangear Toolbox and keep getting message that "Error occured during data move process-115." File involved is C:\ Program Files\Canon\ScanGear Toolbox CS\SGTBRESS.DLL. I do not have a clue what to do next.
    Now I have to SAVE documents (that button works) and then go to Saved document to print it. A pain.

    There's always the format the HD and start over. Nobody ever wants to hear that advice though.

    I had the same problem and called canon several times and they tried to figure out what was the problem with no luck.

    I finally gave up and reformated my drive and when I installed the scanner it worked...

    Go figure.
